Job Description:To understand the current and forecast CAD systems, data usage and processes To define the ongoing CAD strategy / Roadmap for the client Understand the business requirements and pain-points Understand the technical requirements for business and IT Understand the functional and technical data and system integration requirements Understand the various vendor offerings and ongoing product roadmaps Coordinate with the business and influence them into using the most appropriate tool / application for each type of data Creating metrics for the CAD tools (tool comparison) Data types in use across the business to include but not limited toMechanical ComponentsElectrical/EC&I Components & WiringCivil ComponentsPI&Ds & Routing (Electrical / Pipework /HVAC)Model Based Definitions Understand and recommend the consumption of CAD data for;Bill of Manufacture (BOM)Bill of Process (BOP)Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
