The EMEAI region is in the process of a transformation program which will include integrating the countries and developing best practices across the functions thus helping to form the basis of a high performing high growth area.
Revenues across the EMEAI region currently come from a range of channels including Direct, via Distributors, Value added resellers and OEMs and, with the region at an early stage of developing their commercial strategy to broaden out their channels, there is a huge opportunity to strategically review the indirect channels and develop a new go to market strategy in the pursuit of growth. With average order values ranging significantly and with large international customers starting to request global agreements, it is important that the business has strong commercial strategies across all channels (with products and services), as well as a strategic approach to key account management with them.
Opportunities for the Group to expand the sales channels are present across the whole of the EMEAI region, but they are particularly prevalent in more challenging geopolitical areas such as Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East (with India following closely behind). As a result, the company is looking to recruit a new strategic and ambitious Commercial Director for the Indirect channels across the EMEAI Region who will develop and build a broader commercial strategy to grow business across the Group’s portfolio.
The ‘indirect’ sales strategy is a key regional growth opportunity and, therefore, the new Commercial Director role is critical to the EMEAI Leadership team and the success of the region moving forwards.
The new Commercial Director will be responsible for building a commercial strategy to grow sustainable revenue through new profitable channels in the region. They will also be accountable for developing a more strategic approach to the channels in the region as well as developing additional indirect channels.
For this role, the company is looking for an ambitious Sales/Commercial Director who is keen to progress within the Group. A demonstrable track record of developing a successful commercial strategy involving multiple indirect channels including distributors, value-added resellers and OEMs as well as experience of leading successful growth in the EMEAI region (Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe) would be ideal. A strategic leader who is agile enough to navigate their way around political situations, manage risk and change the commercial plan accordingly is also important to the success of this position.
