Technology Project Manager – Birmingham, Hybrid, £50k-£60k, FTC
We’re currently working with a financial services client who is looking to bring in an experienced Technology Project Manager on a 12 month fixed-term contract basis, with real potential to be made permanent at the end.
This is a hands-on role, sitting between business and technical teams, where you’ll take ownership of projects from inception through to delivery. Given the nature of the work, experience within financial services is essential.
What we’re looking for:
• Proven end to end project delivery experience within financial services
• Strong background in IT / technology project delivery
• Exposure to cyber resilience, risk, or security-related projects
• Experience or interest in AI / automation initiatives
• Solid knowledge of MS Project
• Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
What you’ll be doing:
• Leading end-to-end delivery of technology projects
• Supporting cyber resilience and risk-focused programmes
• Contributing to the rollout of AI and data-driven solutions
• Building and managing project plans using MS Project
• Working closely with stakeholders to define requirements and outcomes
• Ensuring projects align with financial services regulations and standards
