Java Developer – Newcastle (Hybrid)
We’re looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a dynamic team building secure, scalable microservices for high-impact projects.
What you’ll have the opportunity to do as a Java Developer:
•Develop modular services using Java 11+ and Spring Boot
•Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to deploy solutions in AWS
•Follow Agile practices, Test-Driven Development, and CI/CD workflows
•Work with enterprise middleware (e.g., WebLogic) and secure integrations
What we’re looking for from a Java Developer:
•Strong experience with Java (JDK 11+) and Spring Boot for building modular, maintainable microservices
•Experience with enterprise middleware (e.g., WebLogic, CAS SDK) for secure, high-performance integrations
•Hands-on experience deploying solutions in AWS using containers
•Agile/Scrum experience: backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
•Solid Java programming expertise to deliver robust, scalable services
