The Role

We are seeking an experienced Revit MEP Technician to join our expanding team in Liverpool. Reporting to the BIM Director, you will utilise Revit software to create 2D & 3D MEP models and produce Stage 3, 4, and 5 drawings following company and client standards, BIM Execution Plans, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle complex drafting assignments with minimal supervision from senior team members.
  • Develop 3D models and working drawings for MEP systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and containment, based on engineer sketches or client descriptions.
  • Review your drawings for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain, revise, and update project drawings as required.
  • Collaborate with other teams to gather reference information.
  • Ensure projects are executed on time and within budget.
  • Attend project meetings and BIM coordination workshops, representing the company.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience using Revit within the building services sector, working for either an M&E consultancy or subcontractor. You should be approachable, self-motivated, and enthusiastic, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to meet deadlines while working independently and contributing to team goals is essential. Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Outlook is required.

We may consider applications from experienced AutoCAD users who are eager to transition to Revit. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship. A high standard of spoken and written English is required due to the collaborative nature of the role. All applicants must also be able to work from our Liverpool office.

Qualifications

  • ONC/HNC in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Revit Training certification or demonstrable experience in a similar role.

We are open to applicants who can demonstrate their capability through hands-on experience, even if they do not hold the above qualifications.
