About the Role
Conquer AI is hiring AI Engineers to join our UK team and build production-grade agentic AI systems inside some of the largest organisations in the world.
This is a hands-on engineering role. You will be designing and shipping systems that sit at the core of real business workflows, not prototypes, not experiments.
We work directly with enterprise teams across FTSE 100, FTSE 250, and Fortune 500 businesses, embedding AI into operations where it drives measurable impact.
You will build alongside stakeholders, close to the problem, translating real-world workflows into working systems.
What You’ll Build
You’ll work across a range of applied AI use cases, typically involving:
- Document intelligence systems
- Extracting, structuring, and reasoning over unstructured data (PDFs, emails, reports) using LLMs and ML
- Agentic AI workflows
- Systems that can take actions, make decisions, and continuously improve with human-in-the-loop feedback
- End-to-end pipelines
- From ingestion → processing → reasoning → output, with auditability and traceability built in
- Operational AI systems
- Embedded directly into business processes to improve speed, accuracy, and decision-making
- Everything is built for production environments with real users.
Tech Environment
- Languages: Python, TypeScript, Node.js
- AI / ML: LLMs, applied machine learning, RAG architectures
- Data: Structured + unstructured data pipelines
- Infrastructure: AWS and modern cloud environments
Responsibilities
- Design and build production-grade AI systems end-to-end
- Develop LLM-powered pipelines for extraction, reasoning, and automation
- Implement agentic workflows with human-in-the-loop controls
- Work directly with stakeholders to translate workflows into working software
- Build systems with traceability, evaluation, and continuous improvement loops
- Ship quickly and iterate based on real-world usage
Requirements
Must Have
- Strong software engineering experience (Python and/or Node.js / TypeScript)
- Experience building or working with LLM-based systems in production
- Understanding of prompting, RAG patterns, and LLM evaluation
- Experience handling unstructured data and building data pipelines
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with applied machine learning systems
- Exposure to enterprise environments and complex system integrations
- Experience building end-to-end AI products, not just models
- Familiarity with human-in-the-loop systems and feedback loops
