Job Title: Regional Manager
Sector: Industrial rubber and PVC hoses, rubber sheets and expanded rubber

Reports to: Sales Director / General Management
Role Objective
The Regional Manager is responsible for the commercial development and strategic management of the assigned area for the sale of industrial rubber and PVC hoses, solid rubber sheets and expanded rubber, managing both national and international customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the regional sales plan in line with company objectives.
- Develop and strengthen the customer portfolio (distributors, OEMs, manufacturing industry, construction, plant engineering, agricultural sector, etc.).
- Manage commercial relationships with international clients and participate in meetings conducted in English.
- Analyse the target market (trends, competitors, pricing, new applications).
- Negotiate contracts and framework agreements with key clients.
- Coordinate and support the sales network (agents or direct sales staff).
- Monitor commercial KPIs: turnover, margins, volumes, product turnover.
- Collaborate with the technical department and production for customised solutions and special projects.
- Manage sales forecasts and the annual budget for the area.
- Attend national and international trade fairs.
- Ensure compliance with company commercial and credit policies.
Required Technical Skills
- Knowledge of elastomeric materials (NR, SBR, NBR, EPDM, silicone, etc.).
- Understanding of industrial hose applications (compressed air, water, chemicals, abrasives, food-grade, etc.).
- Familiarity with industry regulations (REACH, food certifications, industrial standards).
- Ability to read and interpret technical datasheets and product specifications.
- Good command of CRM tools and Microsoft Office package.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial roles within the rubber/plastics sector or industrial components.
- Experience in customer management and regional business development.
- Knowledge of the territory.
- Knowledge of customer base, particularly small and medium distributors, hydraulics sector, agricultural spare parts, OEMs.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written (minimum B2 level), with the ability to independently manage negotiations and commercial correspondence.
- Willingness to travel within the national territory (Italy) for internal meetings, sales coordination and training activities, as well as occasional travel to clients and industry trade fairs.
- Full UK driving licence (Category B).
- Degree in a technical or economic discipline (preferred).
