Profit Centre Manager (E-commerce) – Trade/Construction

Middlesbrough | £60–80k + (OTE £110k-£130k year 1) + car allowance

We’re recruiting for a Profit Centre Manager to take full ownership of a highly successful e-commerce business .

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for driving revenue, improving the online customer journey, and running the business day-to-day. A role for someone who wants to run and grow a business, not just manage one.

The role:

You will take ownership of the full operation, including:

  • Online trading performance (sales, margin, conversion)
  • Product, pricing and supplier management
  • Customer journey and website performance
  • Digital marketing (via an agency)
  • Fulfilment, logistics and service levels
  • Team leadership and development

You will be running this as a true profit centre, with autonomy to make decisions and drive growth.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in a senior role within an e-commerce environment
  • Strong entrepreneurial commercial mindset with P&L ownership
  • Understanding of digital trading and customer acquisition
  • Comfortable working across marketing, operations and supply chain
  • Hands-on, proactive and happy operating in a smaller team
  • Experience selling into trade or construction markets would be the ideal, however not essential.
