This is a delivery-focused role where you will work directly with leading defence organisations and government bodies, helping them respond to industry disruption, modernise operations, and adopt new technologies across complex environments.

You will be part of a high-performing team working on mission-critical programmes that directly impact national security, defence capability, and large-scale operational performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering consulting projects across aerospace and defence clients, working as part of structured project teams
  • Owning and leading discrete workstreams within larger transformation programmes
  • Analysing complex data sets to generate insights and shape strategic recommendations
  • Engaging with senior client stakeholders and clearly communicating outputs and outcomes
  • Supporting implementation of transformation initiatives to ensure measurable value delivery
  • Facilitating workshops, including innovation and requirements sessions using human-centred design approaches
  • Contributing to business development through creation of propositions, collateral, and client-facing materials

Ideal Background

  • 3+ years’ experience in management consulting with Aerospace & Defence clients, or
  • 5+ years’ industry experience delivering transformation within aerospace, defence, or closely aligned sectors
  • Strong experience in at least one of the following areas:
  • Supply Chain / Procurement
  • Manufacturing / Operational Improvement
  • Digital Engineering / PLM
  • Programme Delivery
  • Quality Management or Services
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capability
  • Confident communicator with experience working in client-facing environments
  • Degree qualified (strong academic background preferred)
  • Demonstrable interest in technology, innovation, and defence transformation

What You’ll Receive

  • Competitive base salary up to £65,000 (London) / £60,000 (Manchester)
  • 30 days annual leave
  • Private medical insurance
  • Access to fitness and wellbeing benefits
  • Structured training and development with clear progression pathways
  • Exposure to high-profile, complex defence programmes
  • Opportunity to work across both industry and government clients

Who Should Apply

This role suits consultants or industry professionals who want to operate at the centre of defence transformation. If you are already working in aerospace or defence and want broader exposure, faster progression, and access to high-impact programmes, this is a strong move.

You must be eligible for UK security clearance (typically requires 5 years continuous UK residency).
