Interim Regional Operations Manager (North West England & Scotland)
Contract Status: Interim assignment, 3-6 months
Rate: £425 per day
Location: Hybrid, covering North West England and Scotland. Regular site presence is required, including monthly travel to Scotland.
The Opportunity
A high-calibre Interim Regional Operations Manager is required to join the leadership team of a pioneering, multi-award-winning UK provider of complex care. This is a critical senior assignment focused on providing operational oversight and driving performance improvement across a portfolio of specialist services in North West England and Scotland.
The Role
Your primary focus will be on stabilisation and performance improvement, ensuring every service within your remit meets exacting standards for quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. As a strategic leader, your responsibilities will include:
- Senior Oversight: Leading a group of services to consistently achieve quality and performance benchmarks.
- Driving Improvement: Supporting and challenging service leadership teams to enhance operational excellence.
- Risk Management: Maintaining total visibility of regional risks and providing clear insights to senior leadership.
- Embedding Governance: Fostering stability through robust accountability frameworks.
About You
The successful candidate will be a calm and credible leader with a proven track record of senior operational leadership within the health or social care sectors.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing social care services across multiple sites. Candidates with experience in mental health/complex care services is strongly preferred.
- Clinical Background: Not essential, but you must be a performance-driven decision-maker.
- Influencing Skills: Ability to manage diverse stakeholders and influence at a senior level.
