About the Role

We are now looking for a Software Engineering Team Leader to join our team, leading the outbound technology function and delivering critical software projects that support one of our largest Customer Fulfilment Centres and two General Merchandise Distribution Centres.

What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of five software developers
- Own and help shape the technical direction of the outbound Dordon area, working closely with senior stakeholders
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from initial concept through to live support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, project delivery, and wider technology teams
- Build your leadership capability while supporting the growth and development of your team
About You
This role is ideal for a senior software developer ready to step into leadership. You’ll bring:
- Proven experience delivering software development projects
- A strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle and the ability to adapt to changing requirements
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A collaborative mindset, with a passion for mentoring and developing others
Technologies & Skills
Experience with Java, Oracle Database, and Docker is beneficial. However, we value a broad engineering mindset—someone who is adaptable, curious, and eager to learn new technologies.
