Exclusive opportunity with a confidential, owner-led group looking to appoint a part-time Finance Director to support the next phase of growth.
This is a well-established business with a strong track record and solid operational footing. It’s not a turnaround. It’s about bringing in a commercially focused FD to help drive performance, shape direction and support continued growth.
You’ll work directly with the Managing Director, acting as a true strategic partner across the business.
The opportunity:
- Employed part-time Finance Director role
- Based across Nottinghamshire
- 2–3 days per week with hybrid working
- Very flexible hours to suit the individual
- Salary is flexible depending on experience
- Potential for equity
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing strategic financial leadership to the MD and wider business
- Driving margin improvement and overall profitability
- Supporting commercial decision-making and business planning
- Leading on financial due diligence for potential acquisitions
- Interpreting performance and identifying where value can be unlocked
- Challenging and influencing at senior level
This is not a hands-on reporting role. The finance function is already in place. Your focus will be on insight, direction and impact.
What they’re looking for:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Proven experience operating at Finance Director level
- Strong commercial instinct and ability to influence an owner-led business
- Experience supporting growth and driving performance
- Exposure to acquisitions or financial due diligence would be beneficial
