Site Manager – District Heating Projects

London & South

We’re working with an exciting, fast-growing energy infrastructure business to recruit an experienced Site Manager to support the delivery of district heating projects across London and the South.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company at the forefront of the UK’s decarbonisation journey, delivering sustainable heating solutions at scale.

The Role

As Site Manager, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

You’ll be a key presence on-site, working closely with contractors, engineers, and project teams to keep works progressing and solve problems in real time.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily site activity, ensuring progress, safety, and quality

Act as the main on-site problem solver for technical and operational issues

Manage contractors, workforce, and site resources

Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and H&S standards

Coordinate with Project Managers to keep projects on schedule

Conduct quality inspections across civils, mechanical & electrical works

Support emergency response and maintenance on district heating networks

What We’re Looking For

Strong site management experience in utilities, construction, or district heating

Background across civils, mechanical & electrical disciplines

Proven ability to lead teams and manage contractors effectively

Solid understanding of health & safety and risk management

Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly

Essential Qualifications

CSCS Gold or Black Card

SMSTS

NRSWA

First Aid

Minimum 5 years’ site management experience

Right to work in the UK
