About the Role
The Business Development Executive on the Ocean Media Bridal (OMG) Portfolio is responsible for making a significant revenue contribution to the financial success of the events they work on. Reporting directly to the Event Director (Portfolio General Manager), they will demonstrate their sales prowess by contributing to strong revenue growth, helping all team members, and contributing to the team’s delivery of world-class customer experiences for their clients.
They will be expected to help grow new business revenue from the B2B bridal supply chain via stand and sponsorship sales. They will need to be a target-driven individual with excellent negotiation and customer service skills, as well as excellent attention to detail. They are expected to build quick rapport with new business prospects.
Responsibilities
Job duties & responsibilities:
Sales Performance and Delivery:
- To meet a minimum of 90 mins sales talk time/40 calls on the phone per day.
- Provide a high level of robust,thorough, and reliable account management to the new business relationships they develop.
- Upselling clients by adding sponsorship packages into proposals.
- Achieving and exceeding individual monthly sales targets set and agreed with the Event Director.
- Reporting all weekly individual sales progress and submit a weekly and monthly revenue pledge.
- Keep client management system accurately up to date with individual new sales leads,sales contracts and use CRM to manage accounts efficiently.
- Be able to deliver accurate sales updates from the CRM system for their own accounts, both ad-hoc and in weekly sales meetings.
Strategy and Product Development:
- Analysing the competitive landscape to bring new revenue generating options to the table.
Financial Management and Reporting:
- Maintaining accurate records of sales process activity in our CRM system to enable accurate reporting as required.

Pay range and compensation package
We offer a competitive starting salary plus a 25% OTE
