AWS Data Engineer – London
Salary | Negotiable to £80,000 depending on experience
London | Hybrid working – 3 days per week in the office

A leader in consumer behaviour analytics, seeks a driven AWS Data Engineer to join it’s expanding team and play a key role in shaping and scaling its data platform.
This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys building from the ground up, improving how data is managed and used, and working closely with product, engineering and analytics teams in a collaborative environment. The business has an ambitious mission and a real focus on building data systems that are scalable, reliable and able to support future growth.
The role will involve:
- Developing and optimising ETL and ELT processes to support analytics and reporting
- Helping to evolve the data lake and wider data architecture
- Exploring and evaluating warehousing solutions including Snowflake
- Partnering with product and engineering teams to define data architecture and reporting best practice
- Ensuring strong standards across data security, governance and compliance
- Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to improve reliability and automate workflows
- Identifying opportunities to improve internal processes, automate manual work and enhance scalability and performance
Key requirements:
- Strong experience with AWS, particularly Lambda, Glue, Athena, RDS and S3
- Strong Python and Pandas skills
- Strong SQL skills for data transformation, loading and cleansing
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines using tools such as Dagster, Airflow or Celery
- Experience designing scalable data processes, metadata and workload management
- Experience working with cross functional teams in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with remote teams across the UK, US and Canada
- The role will also offer exposure to Snowflake, DataOps, CI/CD and emerging areas such as LLMs and RAG.
