A leading global engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their UK Infrastructure Group. This role focuses on designing and delivering potable water supply, treatment, and distribution systems across multidisciplinary projects in the UK and overseas.
The Role
The successful engineer will support the delivery of civil and potable water infrastructure across masterplanning, campus developments, and building‑scale projects. You will contribute technical expertise, lead small teams, and support project planning, resource allocation, and financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of potable water systems in line with industry standards
- Deliver civil infrastructure designs from concept to construction
- Manage resources, budgets, and project delivery
- Support junior engineers through mentoring and technical guidance
- Prepare and review reports, specifications, and design documentation
- Support work winning and client engagement activities
Skills & Experience
- Strong background in civil infrastructure with expertise in potable water design
- Experience in water supply, treatment, and distribution systems
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop engineering teams
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD and relevant water modelling tools
- Membership of a relevant professional institution
