CampionPickworth Recruitment is partnering with a growing financial services organisation to appoint a Senior Risk Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced risk professional to play a key role in shaping and strengthening a firm’s risk framework.
About the role
In this position, you’ll provide independent second-line oversight across Finance and Treasury activities, ensuring robust management of liquidity, funding, capital, and interest rate risk in the banking book (IRRBB). You’ll lead stress testing initiatives, enhance risk reporting, and work closely with senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities
- Provide oversight and challenge across treasury risk areas (liquidity, funding, capital, IRRBB)
- Lead stress testing and scenario analysis frameworks, including regulatory-aligned scenarios
- Support ICAAP, ILAAP, Recovery Planning, and regulatory submissions
- Deliver high-quality risk MI and reporting to executive and board committees
- Enhance risk data, governance, and control frameworks
- Partner with Finance, Treasury, and Data teams to improve insight and decision-making
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in Risk, Treasury, Finance, or a quantitative role within a UK regulated financial institution
- Strong knowledge of stress testing, financial modelling, and prudential risk frameworks
- Experience reviewing ICAAP, ILAAP, and Recovery Plans
- Strong understanding of liquidity risk, capital management, and IRRBB
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Experience producing clear, insightful management reporting
