The Role

This is a high-impact leadership position, responsible for owning and shaping the data function across a sophisticated, data-driven organisation.

You’ll lead data analysis, collection, modelling, and visualisation—working closely with senior stakeholders to influence strategy and drive commercial performance. This role offers both breadth and depth, giving you the opportunity to operate at the heart of the business while remaining hands-on.

Data and innovation are central to how this company operates—from marketplace optimisation to customer experience—making this a critical and highly visible role.

About You

  • Proven experience leading data functions within a consumer-focused or marketplace business
  • Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of performance marketing and product analytics
  • Advanced SQL and analytical capabilities, with experience working on large, complex datasets
  • Track record of influencing senior stakeholders through clear, actionable insights
  • Experience with modern data stacks (e.g. Snowflake, dbt, Tableau/Looker, Heap or similar)
  • Passion for making data accessible, scalable, and impactful across teams
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Experience in travel or marketplaces is beneficial but not essential
