Your new role
As Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for a significant new build industrial development in Manchester. This is a large, high value steel frame scheme forming part of a wider pipeline of major projects across the North West.Your role will include:
- Full commercial management of the project from start to final account procurement of subcontract packages and management of supply chain performance.
- Cost reporting, valuations, change control and forecasting
- Working closely with the Project Manager to ensure contract and programme compliance
- Supporting the wider commercial team on future tenders and regional growth plans
- This is a role suited to someone who enjoys autonomy, technical challenge and working on major projects with long-term local work.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Experience as a QS or Senior QS within a main contracting environment
- Strong knowledge of JCT contracts
- Ability to manage procurement, cost control and commercial reporting independently
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
