Learning Support Assistant (Full Time) – Immediate Start
Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them reach their full potential? Do you have experience working with children or young people in educational, youth work, residential, or community settings? We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team in Fazakerley.
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and resilient individual to provide high-quality support to students with additional needs. You will work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support, build positive relationships, and create a safe, engaging environment where students can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with varying needs
- Assist in delivering personalised learning activities
- Help maintain a positive, structured learning environment
- Promote emotional well-being, positive behaviour, and engagement
- Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff, and external professionals
- Support pupils in managing challenges, transitions, and daily routines
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience working with young people (youth work, mentoring, support work, or similar roles)
- A calm, patient, and understanding approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust
- A proactive attitude and willingness to be hands-on
- The resilience to support young people with social, emotional, or behavioural needs
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
Hours & Start Date
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Immediate start available
