We are currently recruiting for a Recycling Operative / Picking Line Operative on behalf of a well-established recycling facility located near Sudbury. This is a hands-on role that contributes directly to reducing landfill waste and promoting sustainable practices.
Please note: Own transport is preferred due to the site’s location and restriction of public transport.
Key Duties of the Picking Line Operative:
Manually sorting recyclable materials on a fast-paced line
Assisting in quality control to ensure correct separation of waste streams
Light manual handling
Supporting the wider team to achieve daily throughput targets
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Candidate Requirements for the Picking Line Operative :
Previous experience in a manufacturing and production, warehouse, or recycling environment preferred
Physically fit and comfortable with standing for long periods
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexibly
Must have access to own transport
