  • Representdigital at all key buy cycle forums, including post-adoption reviews,pre-season alignment, and strategic summits.
  • Consolidateinsights across navigation, search, sell-through, availability, Notify Me,and size trends to shape Polo’s seasonal buy.
  • Influence optioncount, depth, and SKU architecture using data-led recommendations.
  • Lead alignmenton category-level risks and opportunities with Buying, Planning, andInventory partners.

Availability & In-Season Trading

  • Own availabilityvisibility and partner with Allocation to improve depth, reduce earlysellouts, and reduce fragmentation.
  • Lead Polo’szero-seller identification, root-cause analysis, and removalrecommendations.
  • Shape correctiveactions during in-season trading to reduce order cancellations andcustomer friction.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as theprimary digital counterpart for Polo Buying, Planning, Inventory, SiteOps, Connected Retail, and Business Planning.
  • Drive seniorstakeholder alignment and ensure follow-through on actions across multipleteams and regions.
  • Lead thecreation and delivery of divisional reviews, hindsight packs, anddigital-specific summaries.

Data & Reporting

  • Own insightconsolidation across dashboards, availability reports, size analysis, andcustomer behaviour signals.
  • Translatecomplex analytics into simple, actionable direction for commercialpartners.
  • Present findingsand strategic recommendations to senior leaders.

Ways of Working & Process Leadership

  • Championconsistent Merch Ops processes and operating principles across Polo.
  • Identifyopportunities to streamline decision-making and improve cross-functionalrhythm.

Qualifications

  • Substantial proven experience in merchandising, planning, allocation, or digital trading with directe-commerce experience – min 7 full strategic performance cycles
  • Significantexperience partnering with senior stakeholders in a global or matrixedretail environment.
  • Proven abilityto influence buy decisions using data, insights, and commercial reasoning.
  • Demonstratedability to lead seasonal planning cycles and large cross-functionalmeetings. xwzovoh
  • Strongunderstanding of OTB, option planning, size curves, depth vs width, andassortment lifecycle.
