Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with hands‑on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real‑world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. It runs for 12 weeks.

Live Ops Team Responsibilities

As one of key pillars of TikTok Shop growth in the UK, the LIVE ops team is responsible for building a strong pool of livestream merchants/creators through various key initiatives, establishing C‑end live mindset among users, and driving GMV growth through livestream commerce.

  • Assist in conducting detailed data analysis for informed business decision.
  • Assist in key central project facilitation and deeply engage in operational details to drive GMV impact (end‑to‑end delivery from live registration to post‑live review).
  • Assist in live playbook definition and development (integrating US/China good practices with UK characteristics) and help on dissemination of playbook through training organization (webinars, offline events, community management, etc.).
  • Assist in collaboration with cross‑functional teams (e.g., product, recommendation, GNE teams) for landing tactics and removing roadblocks to drive project success.
  • Deliver ad‑hoc reports and analysis of livestream performance.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications

  • Current students in the penultimate year of their degree & major in Marketing, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Communications, or related fields.
  • Basic understanding and sense of the TikTok Shop ecosystem, live ecosystem.
  • Attention to detail, affinity with numbers, strong in problem‑solving.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Past experience in e‑commerce and live content.
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau and other data analytics tools.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and thrive in a fast‑paced working environment.
