A leading global media and marketing network is seeking a senior commerce leader to step into a key role supporting the continued performance and growth of its commerce offering. This is a high-impact position, operating as a strategic partner to the global commerce lead, with responsibility for ensuring teams, projects, and commercial objectives are aligned and delivered to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior leadership across commerce strategy, ensuring clear direction and consistency across markets and client engagements
- Oversee cross-functional teams, supporting structure, performance, and capability development across regions
- Ensure high-quality delivery across both ongoing client work and fast-moving, ad hoc projects
- Step into complex or high-pressure situations to provide clarity, direction, and resolution
- Translate business priorities into clear team objectives, tracking progress and addressing risks early
- Support growth by identifying opportunities within existing clients and contributing to new business initiatives
- Partner with senior stakeholders internally and externally, building strong and trusted relationships
- Help shape and evolve commerce propositions to ensure they remain competitive and commercially effective
Requirements
- Extensive experience in a senior leadership role within commerce, digital, media, or consulting environments
- Strong understanding of digital commerce ecosystems, including marketplaces, retail media, and direct-to-consumer models
- Proven ability to lead large, distributed teams and manage complex, multi-market delivery
- Commercially minded, with experience supporting revenue growth and business development
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and clients in high-level strategic discussions
- Highly organised, with the ability to bring structure and clarity to fast-paced and ambiguous environments
