Location: The Lumen, St James’ Boulevard, Newcastle upon Tyne, various ‘spoke’ offices throughout the North East and remote working arrangements.
Salary: N11 £55,608 – £59,068 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Join us as a Senior Finance Business Partner
You will play a central role in building strong, trusted relationships with senior leaders across the organisation, acting as a key adviser on how financial insight can support the delivery of our region’s ambitions. Through credibility, influence and collaboration, you will help shape strategic conversations, support confident decision‑making and ensure that resources are aligned to the priorities that matter most for the North East.
As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with Directors, Heads of Service and programme leads, developing a deep understanding of their objectives, challenges and opportunities. You will translate financial information into clear, practical insight, challenge constructively where needed and support leaders to make informed choices that deliver value for money and long‑term impact. Your focus will be on enabling delivery, not just providing assurance.
This role is also about leadership and capability‑building. You will support and coach colleagues, helping to strengthen financial confidence and understanding across the organisation, and will represent finance as a positive, enabling partner. By building effective networks both internally and externally, you will contribute to a culture of strong financial management, collaboration and continuous improvement across the North East CA.
