A high-performing secondary school in Kensington & Chelsea is seeking a passionate and driven Head of Chemistry to join their team from April 2026.

The Role

In this Head of Chemistry role, you will lead a dynamic department delivering Chemistry from KS3 -KS5. This role represents an exciting opportunity to guide and inspire this talented team, further developing the curriculum and ensuring outstanding teaching and learning experiences for all students.

You will:

  • Shape and develop a curriculum that promotes: Critical thinking, Cultural awareness, Ethical understanding, Respect for diverse perspectives

Person Specification

  • An experienced middle leader or an ambitious teacher ready for a step up
  • Outstanding classroom practitioner with a strong background in Chemistry
  • Visionary educator passionate about developing both staff and students
  • Committed to inclusion, academic success, and holistic student growth
  • (QTS/ QTLS required)
