A high-performing secondary school in Kensington & Chelsea is seeking a passionate and driven Head of Chemistry to join their team from April 2026.
The Role
In this Head of Chemistry role, you will lead a dynamic department delivering Chemistry from KS3 -KS5. This role represents an exciting opportunity to guide and inspire this talented team, further developing the curriculum and ensuring outstanding teaching and learning experiences for all students.
You will:
- Shape and develop a curriculum that promotes: Critical thinking, Cultural awareness, Ethical understanding, Respect for diverse perspectives
- Guide a committed team of educators who are enthusiastic and knowledgeable
- Drive academic excellence and student personal development across all key stages
- Foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment
Person Specification
- An experienced middle leader or an ambitious teacher ready for a step up
- Outstanding classroom practitioner with a strong background in Chemistry
- Visionary educator passionate about developing both staff and students
- Committed to inclusion, academic success, and holistic student growth
- (QTS/ QTLS required)
