Overview

We’re recruiting for a meticulous and proactive Credit Controller to join a supportive finance team based in Avonmouth. This part‑time role offers flexibility around your working hours, making it perfect for someone seeking work-life balance alongside a rewarding finance role. Initially a 3‑month temporary assignment, there is a genuine opportunity for the right person to go permanent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Chasing overdue invoices via phone and email to maintain healthy cashflow
  • Updating and maintaining spreadsheets with accurate financial data
  • Price‑matching invoices using Excel to ensure correct billing
  • Building and maintaining positive customer relationships
  • Supporting the finance team with general credit control and admin tasks

About You

You’ll be a strong match if you have:

  • Experience in credit control or accounts receivable
  • Confident communication skills and a professional telephone manner
  • Solid Excel ability – ideally with experience matching data and using lookup formulas
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Ability to work independently within a small team
