Overview

Our client, a leading international insurer, is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to join its growing Pricing & Analytics team within the Automotive Protection division.

This is an excellent opportunity for a data-driven professional to play a key role in shaping pricing strategies, delivering actionable insights, and supporting business performance across GAP and Warranty products. The role offers exposure to advanced analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic decision-making within a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop pricing models and reporting to support portfolio performance and business decision-making
  • Partner with underwriting teams to forecast performance and enhance pricing strategies
  • Analyse claims data and apply forecasting techniques to project future trends
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems and reporting processes
  • Produce high-quality management information (MI) and business insights
  • Design and enhance reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making
  • Contribute to the development of commercial propositions through analytics and research
  • Build and implement analytical models, including fraud detection and performance optimisation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across underwriting, operations, and senior leadership
  • Support business change initiatives and continuous improvement projects

Requirements

  • Experience in pricing, analytics, or data science within insurance or financial services
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data visualisation tools
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, SAS, or Scala
  • Understanding of statistical modelling, machine learning, and data science methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
