Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Property Manager (Block) to join our team on a full‑time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of properties, overseeing a team of property managers, and ensuring the efficient and effective management of all aspects of the properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of properties, including residential and commercial buildings, ensuring they are well‑maintained and compliant with all regulations and standards.
  • Oversee a team of property managers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, tenants, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and address any maintenance or repair issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all financial aspects of the properties are managed effectively, including budgeting, rent collection, and invoicing.
  • Monitor and manage lease agreements, ensuring all tenants are in compliance with their obligations.
  • Handle any tenant complaints or disputes, and take appropriate action to resolve them.
  • Keep up‑to‑date with industry developments and legislation, and implement any necessary changes to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on the performance of the portfolio and any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall management of the properties.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in property management, real estate, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with at least 2 years in a senior/leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of property management principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
