We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer based in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong mechanical skills who enjoys problem-solving, keeping operations running smoothly, and being part of a supportive maintenance team.
The Role
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of mechanical systems and equipment
Diagnosing and resolving breakdowns efficiently to minimise downtime
Ensuring health, safety and compliance standards are met at all times
Participating in a 1-in-2 call out rota, paid at £100 a week
What We’re Looking For
Mechancial backgroud
- Steam Boiler experiecne is essential
Strong knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics and general plant maintenance
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A proactive, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills
