Electrical Testing & Installation Engineer

We’re supporting a well‑established compliance and engineering services business delivering essential electrical work across the social housing and public sector space. With strong long‑term contracts in place across the South West, they’re looking to appoint an Electrical Testing & Installation Engineer in the Bristol region.

The Role

You’ll work across a local patch, carrying out electrical testing, installation, and remedial works within occupied and void properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct EICRs and produce certification
• Carry out remedial and upgrade works
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults
• Install smoke alarms and safety systems
• Complete consumer unit upgrades
• Ensure all work meets current regulations and compliance standards

What We’re Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent – C&G 2367 / 2357)
• 18th Edition (BS7671) essential
• Test & Inspection (2391 or equivalent) advantageous
• Experience across domestic environments (social housing ideal)
• Confident working independently with a strong customer focus
