The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Scientist I – Stability to join a well‑established laboratory services team within a regulated scientific environment. This role will support stability testing activities for existing and new products, ensuring compliance with GMP/GLP and relevant quality standards.

You will play a key role in generating, analysing and reporting stability data, supporting product shelf‑life and labelling requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform physical and analytical stability testing in line with approved protocols, SOPs and technical documents
  • Analyse, interpret, document and report stability data to GMP/GLP standards
  • Maintain, calibrate and document stability laboratory equipment
  • Support compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA and ICH guidelines
  • Assist with stability investigations, including OOS and laboratory troubleshooting
  • Support accelerated and real‑time stability programmes
  • Collate and retrieve stability data and samples for reports and studies
  • Assist with drafting stability protocols and reports
  • Ensure laboratories are maintained as a safe working environment
  • Order laboratory consumables, reagents and equipment as required
  • Liaise with external vendors for equipment servicing and calibration
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / 6S)

Required Experience & Skills

  • BSc in a scientific discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience working in a laboratory environment within a regulated setting
  • Exposure to analytical equipment such as balances, pipettes, HPLC and ICP‑MS
  • Good understanding of GMP, GLP and quality systems
  • Strong attention to detail and data integrity
  • Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proactive team player with a positive, flexible approach to changing priorities
