Welo Data is looking for fluentMandarin speakers to participate in a professional studio recording project. No prior experience is required, just confidence, a clear voice, and a willingness to collaborate!
This isnot an acting role.We’re simply looking for individuals who can read and speak naturally, clearly, and confidently in the associated language while being recorded in a studio setting.
What you will do:
- Speak clearly and confidently in your dialect while participating in studio recording sessions.
- Improvise where needed to enhance the delivery and ensure natural flow.
- Follow straightforward recording instructions from the studio team.
No memorization required. No performance background required.
Project Details
- StartDate:March 2026
- Duration:3 weeks, with the possibility of extension
- Commitment:4 hours a day, up to 2 days in the studio, throughout a week.
- OpportunityType:Freelance/Independent Contract
- Location:London, UK (On-site in a recording studio)
- Language:Mandarin
- PayRate:$46/hour
Requirements:
- Native-level fluency in the target language.
- Comfortable speaking publicly in a professional studio setting.
- Ability to traverse a normal conversation for 2-5 minutes with a clear, natural speaking voice.
- Reliable and able to attend in-person studio sessions.
- Prior experience in teaching, public speaking, customer service, or similar roles is a plus — but not required.
