Join the Padel Revolution with Rocket Padel!

Since 2018, Rocket Padel has been on a mission to build the most fun, inclusive, and social exercise community. With over 100 courts established in Scandinavia and the UK’s largest padel club in Bristol, we are rapidly expanding. We are now looking for an experienced and passionate Head Coach to lead and develop coaching operations in our Bristol club, strengthening the platform we’ve built and working with our existing coaching team to elevate padel participation and performance. We run coaching programmes across multiple clubs and are looking to strengthen collaboration between them, ensuring learnings are shared and a consistent coaching philosophy is developed across the brand. This role offers a great opportunity to work closely with Head Coaches at other clubs to establish and evolve best practice.

Your Mission at Rocket Padel

As Head Padel Coach, you will play a key role in shaping the coaching programme, driving participation, and ensuring an outstanding player experience at our clubs. Working alongside the Club Manager and coaching team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and coordinating all on‑court Padel activities, ensuring clear communication with customers and staff.
  • Managing club activities, including supporting and leading coach education; organizing coaching schedules, activator/ambassador schedules, meetings, and rotas; rolling out the Heroes Academy Programme and Access Padel framework, driving growth across both initiatives.
  • Developing and managing club activities, including box leagues and club teams.
  • Delivering high-quality coaching sessions.
  • Overseeing coaching performance and quality assurance across the board.
  • Understanding the financial aspects of running a coaching programme, ensuring it is both player‑focused and financially beneficial for the club.
  • Innovative in player:coach and court ratios.
  • Developing and implementing initiatives to increase participation and member retention.
  • Expanding our outreach programme by working with local schools, community groups, universities, and colleges.
  • Delivering and upselling corporate events.
  • Promoting inclusivity and ensuring equality of opportunity within the club.
  • Ensuring Rocket Padel Bristol maintains LTA venue registration.
  • Monitoring court safety and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

We are looking for a motivated, positive, and passionate individual who thrives in a team environment and is dedicated to growing the sport of padel. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience leading a team of coaches in either tennis or, preferably, padel.
  • A valid LTA coaching qualification and accreditation, including First Aid and Safeguarding certification.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with high fluency in English.
  • A working knowledge of social media (content creation is a plus but not essential).
  • A true passion for padel and a desire to be an ambassador for Rocket Padel both internally and externally.

Why Join Rocket Padel?

  • A pivotal role in making the world’s fastest‑growing sport more accessible in the UK.
  • A collaborative, inspiring, and fun work environment with motivated colleagues.
  • Unlimited free play at all Rocket Padel clubs.
  • Free staff gear and continued support to develop your padel skills.
