Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Stafforce Recruitment are currently seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in Sheffield.
Key Responsibilities
- Work safely at all times, following site procedures and completing risk assessments prior to tasks
- Ensure all electrical and mechanical systems remain compliant with relevant standards
- Respond to breakdowns and faults quickly and effectively (both electrical and mechanical)
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance activities
- Undertake electrical installation work as required
- Utilise site systems and data to manage electrical and control systems
- Support and liaise with third-party contractors on-site
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business
What We’re Looking For
- Recognised apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Multi‑skilled experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong fault‑finding ability (mechanical and/or electrical)
- Experience or knowledge of PLCs and control systems (preferred)
- Good IT skills and ability to use maintenance systems
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
