About the Role

We are seeking a degree-qualified Project Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established contractor based near London Bridge. The successful candidate will work across a diverse portfolio of cladding projects as well as the education, healthcare, and commercial sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Quantity Surveyor looking to take ownership of projects and manage the commercial aspects from start to completion while working within a supportive and professional team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial aspects of cladding projects from pre-construction through to final account.
• Prepare and manage cost plans, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
• Ensure projects are delivered within budget and in line with contractual requirements.
• Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor project costs and identify opportunities for value engineering.
• Support project delivery teams with commercial guidance and reporting.
• Maintain strong documentation and reporting standards.

Skills, Attributes & Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
• Good supervision and organisational skills.
• Ability to commercially manage all aspects of a project.
• Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices and standards.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately.
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to handle challenging situations.
• Awareness of when to seek guidance and support.
• Excellent time management and task prioritisation skills.
