Overview
A well-established contractor is looking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a £20m façade remediation scheme based in Brighton, with the project located directly next to the main railway station.
This is an excellent opportunity for a degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor to join a busy project team, reporting into an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, and playing a key role in the commercial delivery of a major remediation project.
Role
You will support the commercial management of a £20m façade remediation project, assisting with procurement, subcontractor management, cost reporting and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Senior Quantity Surveyor with the commercial management of the project
- Managing subcontractor procurement and packages
- Preparing cost reports and valuations
- Assisting with variations and final accounts
- Monitoring project costs and ensuring commercial performance
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (essential)
- Previous experience working for a main contractor
- Background working with a Tier 2 contractor preferred
- Façade remediation or façade package experience strongly preferred
- Currently operating at Project Quantity Surveyor level
- Must live within a 45-minute commute of Brighton
Package
- Salary: £65,000 all-in
- 22 days holiday + bank holidays
