We’re working with a high-growth capital markets technology firm looking to hire a New Business Development Director focused on the buy-side.
This is a pure new logo / new revenue role, targeting asset managers, hedge funds, proprietary trading firms and institutional investors across Europe.
If you enjoy opening new markets, building senior relationships and selling high-value fintech solutions into the buy-side, this is a fantastic opportunity.
The Opportunity
You will be responsible for driving new business growth across institutional clients, introducing a market-leading trading technology / capital markets platform to buy-side firms.
This role sits at the intersection of fintech, institutional sales and capital markets
infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities with buy‑side clients including asset managers, hedge funds and proprietary trading firms
- Build relationships with portfolio managers, traders, heads of trading and technology leaders
- Lead enterprise fintech sales cycles from prospecting through to close
- Deliver strategic sales across capital markets technology / trading infrastructure
- Drive revenue growth across institutional markets
- Collaborate with product and leadership teams on go-to-market strategy
Ideal Background
We’re particularly interested in candidates with experience in:
- Institutional sales / enterprise fintech sales
- Selling into the buy‑side (asset managers, hedge funds, trading firms)
- Capital markets technology
- Trading platforms / eFX / market infrastructure / liquidity solutions
- Fintech SaaS / trading technology / data platforms
