What this role is all about:

We are looking for an experienced Corporate Business Development Manager with strong Corporate PMI expertise and a proven track record of driving sales growth through intermediaries. This role is focused exclusively on corporate clients and the intermediated market.

  • Corporate PMI and Health & Wellbeing solutions for employers
  • Developing and executing intermediary‑led growth strategies
  • Building strong relationships with Employee Benefit Consultants and intermediaries
  • Delivering sustainable new business growth and portfolio performance

Key Actions

  • Consistently meeting or exceeding New Business sales targets and objectives, whilst being accountable for portfolio growth and persistency.
  • Identify, develop and convert new corporate PMI opportunities through intermediaries.
  • Create and implement sales strategies to increase intermediary engagement and conversion.
  • Grow and manage an intermediary portfolio to achieve sales targets.
  • Represent Vitality as a trusted corporate partner and thought leader in the market.
  • Deliver sales presentations and propositions updates to adviser panels and senior corporate stakeholders.
  • Effective use of all available MI to manage sales opportunities, ensuring maximum conversion of high‑quality business; monitoring persistency/lapse levels and intervening by assisting in setting remedial performance measures with stakeholders/principals.
  • Consultative sales experience and strategic account planning within corporate wellbeing.
  • Take responsibility to manage own personal development and ensuring product, process and market knowledge is always accurate and up to date; sit and attain a high pass rate in all product accreditations.
  • Take personal responsibility for ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements are met.

  • Strong experience in Corporate PMI.
  • Proven success selling through intermediaries within the employee benefits market.
  • Demonstrable experience developing intermediary‑led sales growth strategies.
  • Excellent commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confidence presenting to C‑suite HR Directors, Heads of Reward and senior advisers.
