Product Manager – Electronic Services Growth & Strategy

Salary: £35k to £45k pa (depending on experience)

We are looking for someone to be responsible for the growth and ongoing development of the Electronic Services Product offering for a major client of ours in order to meet customer requirements.

Major Areas of Responsibility

• Electronic Service Product Development
• Budget Planning and Revenue Management
• Internal Stakeholder Product awareness training

Specific Responsibilities

• Identify gaps in Electronic Services Product functionality and prioritise the Product Road Map.
• Liaise with Sales and Client Services teams to maximise electronic service opportunities with both new and existing clients.
• Develop high‑level specifications through translation of client requirements so that the IT Development Team can undertake implementation.
• Liaise with the IT Development team to understand technical restraints and trade‑offs around implementation of new features within products.
• Prepare and present a business case for any new initiatives, supported by strong analytics and product research.

Qualifications and Skills

• Pro‑active, positive, self‑starting and self‑motivated approach.
• Good working knowledge of the postal industry, direct marketing and/or transactional market.
• Advanced literacy and numeracy skills.
• Excellent customer‑facing and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Teamwork – evidence of achieving results through others.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and work to tight timelines.
• Effective decision‑making capability.
• Excellent analytical, numerate skills and attention to detail.
