The Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Sales Team within the Packaging Division. This role is focused on identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships with customers, and expanding our presence within key sectors including premium food, beverage, and luxury brands.
The successful candidate will be confident in developing relationships with senior stakeholders, presenting packaging solutions to prospects, and managing key accounts to deliver long‑term value.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the packaging sector
- Build strong, strategic partnerships with customers and key stakeholders
- Manage and grow key accounts while maintaining excellent client relationships
- Present packaging solutions to prospective clients, including premium brands within the food, beverage, and luxury sectors
- Work closely with internal teams including design, production, and customer service to deliver successful projects
- Analyse sales opportunities and prioritise actions to maximise business growth
Requirements
- Proven track record in packaging sales
- 5–10 years of relevant strategic sales experience
- Experience in cartonboard packaging, with the ability to understand customer processes and operational challenges
- Strong knowledge of print and packaging manufacturing processes
- Experience in business development and key account management
- Results‑oriented with a proactive, “can‑do” attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Excellent presentation, communication, and influencing skills
- Confidence to meet clients and present solutions face‑to‑face
- Strong industry network and connections within relevant sectors
