Our client is an established private equity firm that is seeking to recruit a Data Analyst on a part-time basis. The role relates directly to the firm’s responsible investment ethos and its efforts to ensure investee companies are meeting ESG targets and requirements. The role directly supports the Head of ESG and CFO with a focus on data collection, processing and liaising with Portfolio Companies.
The role will be offered on a 3 days per week, part-time basis and can be performed remotely, but you need to be able to attend the central London office one day per week.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with investee companies and advising them in advance on the pre-established KPIs and metrics that data may be required for.
- Issuance of data requests and liaising directly with investee company CFO/COOs to collect data.
- Review and comparison of data metrics from previous reporting periods.
- Analyse and extract trends and notable changes.
- Support Investor Relations team with all requests regarding ESG data.
Exposure to Private Markets (i.e private equity or alternative assets) is non-negotiable – you must have worked for or closely with an investment manager, for example, in a role where your clients are private equity firms. Strong Excel skills are also key, including the ability to handle large data (500 line+ Excel spreadsheets). Moreover, you must be highly organised and have excellent attention to detail.
Requirements:
Mid-Senior level, part-time employment, with experience in Accounting/Auditing and Finance, particularly in Venture Capital and Private Equity Principals.
