Position: Business Development ManagerReporting to Operations Director, you will be responsible for developing and driving the growth plans across your area. This opportunity is about ensuring strong and sustainable customer and internal technical relationships, optimising key account activity, and developing a high level of service.
The Successful Applicant:
- Previous experience selling consultancy services into the Consumer Market.
- Results-driven track record of delivery in service-led activities.
- Able to create sustainable relationships with key stakeholders across site and channel.
- Demonstrable track record of success with strong negotiation skills.
- Customer-focused approach with in-depth knowledge of the consumer packaging market.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in developing revenue streams.
- Proven track record in improving sales performance and implementing change.
- Focused on sales development, adding value, and maintaining consistently high service levels.
- Adept at managing complex negotiations associated with multi-channel & multi-site.
- Adept at influencing internal and external decision makers at all levels, including Board.
- Using innovative techniques to take new ideas to market.
- High work ethic; meeting face to face with potential clients 4-6 times per week.
- A background in selling services and consultancy into packaging and consumer manufacturers is essential.
- A background in selling consultancy services into 3PL providers is desirable.
- Strong ethics: work honestly and with integrity.
- Degree educated.
