We are seeking a confident Business Development Executive with demonstrable technical ability, highly skilled in communication and the drive to succeed, to join a busy Sales and Estimating Team operating at our offices in Cambridgeshire

Job Role:
- Proactively developing new business opportunities increasing market share. Performing regular outreach, targeting to both prospect clients and dormant accounts.
- Delivering effective and powerful product presentations to new and prospective clients.
- Improving awareness of the brand, reputation, products and services throughout targeted areas, identifying short- and long-term potentials and avenues of growth.
- Developing strong and professional customer relationships, providing technical customer support, as necessary.
- Maintaining and updating all customer and opportunity records on CRM system to ensure management are kept up to date on activities and opportunity statuses.
- Preparing of activity reports for monthly meetings and assisting with quarterly and annual forecasting.
Requirements:
- Experience and understanding of the roof glazing and fenestration industry (or similar).
- Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in direct field sales and business development.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
- Organised and proactive.
- Self-motivated, with a strong desire to succeed.
