A Day in Your Neighbourhood
Make it perfect : Clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms to the highest standards, from making beds to shining mirrors and refreshing amenities.Keep it spotless : Dust, vacuum, sanitise, and reset rooms for new arrivals or continued stays, following all brand and hygiene standards.Manage supplies : Monitor linen and amenities in your trolley, restock as needed, and report low stock or damaged items to your supervisor.Support guests : Respond warmly to guest requests, from extra towels to local tips and always going the extra mile when you can.Stay alert : Report maintenance issues, lost property, or anything unusual to the housekeeping office, contributing to a safe and well-managed environment.Take initiative : Support spring cleans, deep cleans, and occasional public area cleaning if needed.Stay safe : Follow all manual handling, hygiene, safety, and COSHH procedures, and help create a safe environment for guests and team members alike.

Previous experience in a hotel or housekeeping roleA strong work ethic and a sharp eye for detailAbility to work independently and manage your own sectionPhysical fitness to be on your feet for most of the shift, lift up to 23kg, and perform repetitive tasksA flexible approach to shift work, including weekends and bank holidaysA guest-first mind-set and willingness to support your team
