Facilities and House Keeping Assistant Benmore Outdoor Centre Salary: £13.48 – £13.64 per hour This position is with The City of Edinburgh Council, please note the post is based outside of Edinburgh at BENMORE OUTDOOR CENTRE, ARGYLL, PA23 8QX. The post holder will benefit from local authority terms and conditions of employment. You will play a vital part in the young people’s experience at Benmore Outdoor Centre. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Facilities & Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality cleaning services. Experience in commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Role will suit a positive and enthusiastic individual who takes pride in performing their duties to a high standard and contributing to quality service delivery. We are seeking a team player who engages well with others, is flexible and adaptable to service needs. Our Facilities & Housekeeping Assistant team provides a range of cleaning duties to ensure a safe, clean and well-presented environment for the groups and guests visiting the residential outdoor centre and associated self-catering properties. Key duties are general housekeeping, small group bed-making and deep cleaning tasks across an expansive site – you will need to be organised and work efficiently and safely within company policies seeking advice and guidance when necessary.
