Quality Assurance Laboratory Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to partner with a leading manufacturing business to find an experienced Quality Assurance & Laboratory Manager. This is a pivotal leadership role within Operations, responsible for managing the Quality Management System, leading QA and Laboratory teams, and driving continuous improvement across processes and products.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and develop the Quality Assurance and Laboratory teams, including mentoring and performance management.
• Oversee daily quality operations, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and other regulatory standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through analysis of scrap, customer complaints, and cost of quality.
• Conduct audits and liaise with regulatory bodies, notified bodies, and third-party auditors.
• Manage shop floor quality, mechanical testing, calibration systems, and departmental resources.
• Support new product introduction with testing, validation, and approvals.
• Provide technical expertise on metallurgy, materials, and process quality.

About You:

We’re looking for a highly skilled Quality professional with:

• Strong leadership and experience managing Quality Management Systems.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality assurance methodologies, and metallurgical/materials expertise.
• Experience leading QA or laboratory teams in metals, engineering, or regulated manufacturing environments. xwzovoh
• Six Sigma certification is desirable.
