Job Title: Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver / Saw OperatorStart Date: 12/01/2026Location: Pindar Road, HoddesdonEmployment Type: Full-time / Temp-PermWorking House: 07:30am-17:00pm (45 min lunch break @12:00pm)Job Purpose: The warehouse operative will be responsible for ensuring the accurant receipt, storage and organisation goods within the warehouse. The candidate must be conscientious and work well as park of a team, have good organisation skills and the willingness to learn the products we sell and the way we work as a company. The candidate will deal with customers and must be polite and respectful in their duties.Key Responsibilities:Receive, check and store incoming goods and materialsPick and strap orders accurately for dispatchLoad and unload deliveries safely and efficientlyOperate warehouse equipment i.e. forklifts & saw (training for the saw will be provided prior to use)Being involved in maintaining accurate inventory and feeding relevant information back to office staff when requiredKeep the warehouse clean, safe and organised at all timeFollow all company health and safety proceduresAssist with stock takes and audits as neededSupport other team members and departments when requiredSkills and Experience required:Experience in warehouse or logistics environmentGood attention to detail and accuracyPhysically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasksReliable, punctual and trustworthyGood communication skills (verbal and written)Polite and respectful towards customers and staff membersForklift licence (Counterbalance)Qualifications:Forklift LicenceTable saw training (to be provided)Working Environment:Warehouse-based role involving driving forklifts, manual handling and operating machineryPPE provided and must be worn at all timesCandidate must have steel toe cap boots of their own that are worn at all times in the warehouse.
