Job Role: HGV Class 1 Driver- ADRLocation: MotherwellStart Date: ASAPContract Length: OngoingPay Rate:(Days) £21.14 per hour(Nights) £26.02 per hourPertemps are recruiting for HGV Class 1 Tanker Drivers for BOC, one of the most prestigious Gas companies in the UK.As the HGV Class 1 Tanker Driver you will be:Delivering product to internal and external customersFilling and analysing own tankers and high-pressure trailersCarrying out minor repairs to vehicles using minimal tools such as screwdrivers and spannersCoupling and uncoupling of motive units, towing vehicles from tankers & trailersRegularly working away from base, including overnight workingTo be successful as the HGV Class 1 Tanker Driver you will:Be able to work as part of a teamBe prepared to carry out trunking or same day return to depot routesBe able to interact with internal and external customersHave a high level of Safety AwarenessHave possessed an HGV C+E licence for a minimum of 3 years with a minimum of 180 days experience within the last two yearsPossession of DQC (Drivers CPC)Have no more than 3 penalty points on your driving licenceBe able to demonstrate experience of tanker drivingHave an ADR ‘Class 2’ entitlement in tanksHave a good understanding of EU and WTD tachograph legislationHave a high level of personal Integrity More about the role:Monday to Friday with opportunity of weekend workPaid breaksDays – Approximate start 06:00amNights – Approximate start 18:00pm startShift length 10-12 hours (average)Attractive allowances for weekends, bank holidays, nights out and several other scenariosThis is an ongoing, full-time role with Pertemps which can lead to a permanent contract with BOC.These positions are available with an immediate start, following a face-to-face interview, driving assessment, criminal record check and drug & alcohol test/medical assessment. If you are interested in applying for this HGV Class 1 Tanker Driver role then please apply with an up-to-date CV and permitting you meet the required level of experience and hold the correct entitlements, we will be in touch….
