This is an exciting opportunity for a recent law graduate or junior legal professional to join a growing Corporate Governance Advisory team, supporting a practice area that is evolving from a strong M&A foundation.
Role Overview:
You will join a collaborative and forward-thinking team, providing key support on a range of corporate governance matters. This role offers excellent exposure to high-quality work and a clear pathway for progression, making it ideal for candidates looking to build a long-term legal career.
In this role, you will be involved in:
- Supporting the Corporate Governance Advisory team on a range of client matters
- Assisting with corporate governance processes and documentation
- Conducting legal research and preparing reports
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents and board materials
- Supporting transactional work as the team transitions from an M&A focus
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborating with colleagues across corporate and wider practice areas
Qualifications and Experience:
We welcome applications from candidates with the following:
- A law degree (or equivalent)
- A strong interest in corporate law and governance
- Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to qualify as a solicitor
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- A proactive and team-oriented approach
- Some prior office or legal experience is beneficial but not essential
